Welcome Back Ministry

Welcome Back Ministry Team members enter the chapel within the Huntsville Unit prison each night before a prison release. Working with TDCJ Chaplaincy Department, our TDCJ certified volunteer team members provide resource literature for help with food, clothes and indigent health care. All which are needed for successful reentry.

Team members take the mystery out of the next day release process for anxious returning citizens. Team members also discuss methods to avoid returning to prison and encourage individual accountability and responsibility to God, family, community, state and self. Returning citizens are given the opportunity to connect to a local church by completing a written information sheet which is forwarded to local churches and supportive organizations.

RJMN TEXAS is looking for churches and organizations willing to assist in the successful reentry of those returning home with changed and caring hearts.
